SHORT BIOGRAPHY

 

Originally from Congo Brazzaville, I hold a Doctorate Thesis in Botanical Economics, the National Museum of Natural History of Paris and the Chair of Business Management of the National Institute of Agronomic Research of Montpellier; A Diploma of Specialized Higher Education (DESS) in Economics and Business Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montpellier II; A Diploma of Engineering in Agroalimentary Technology for the Hot Regions and a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in tropical plant biology from the University Paris 7.

With nearly 25 years of experience on development issues at the service of several international organizations, I am currently employed by the General Secretariat of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) based in Libreville. I work there as an expert in environmental economics and valorization of biodiversity. And I coordinate several programs and several initiatives including the system of economy of craft industry and small enterprises and especially the system of the green economy in Central Africa initiated since 2010 by the Secretariat of the Community adopted On 25 May 2015 by several decisions of the Heads of State.

These decisions include the creation of the Green Economy Fund in Central Africa and the development of sectoral programs in this economy, including the Ecotourism Development Program in Central Africa. As such, I led negotiations leading to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between ECCAS and the World Tourism Organization (WTO) for the Development of Ecotourism in Central Africa on April 9, 2017 .
